Let's Go Fishing With Splatt
Educational Film
Client:
Looe Heritage Centre
The Looe Heritage Centre in Cornwall needed an engaging and educational film to teach school-aged children about the origins of fish and the various fishing techniques used by boats departing from Looe Harbour.
The goal was to create a fun and informative experience that would capture young audiences’ attention.
The Brief
To bring the story to life, we introduced Splatt the Seagull, a playful puppet character who served as the film’s guide. Splatt took viewers on a fishing adventure, joining fishermen at sea to demonstrate the different fishing methods in action.
Despite challenging sea and weather conditions, we captured authentic footage that became a cornerstone of the narrative. The final educational film is now a key attraction at the Looe Harbour Visitor Centre, delighting and educating children about the world of fishing.
